尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们：

大家下午好！

在这课前的三分钟里做这次的演讲，对我真的是一次挑战，但是我无惧，给我这样去展示个人的机会，我特别珍惜，感谢老师和老师愿意支持我。那么下面要去演讲的是《今日事，今日毕》。

我们每天都有要完成的事情，但是我想应该有一部分的人是喜欢把事情拖到第二天完成的。我在想为什么呢？今天的.事情不应该就是今天该完成的吗？今天要做的事情，如果你留到明天再做，那么意义在哪？尤其是我们学生，作为学生，学习是每天都必须做的一件事，每天都要任务和目标，你还要拖到明天，提前消耗明天的时间来完成今天的事，这真的是在浪费时间。在我看来，我觉得今日事就要今日毕，该是什么时候完成就要在那个时间里完成。同学们，你们应该听说过这样的一句话吧，“时间就是生命。”所以大家看你把事情挪到第二天去做，浪费今日的时间去玩，然后从明天的时间里去做昨天的事情，这是不是在浪费我们的“生命”。时间总是在消逝，却从来没有回过头，所以我们在学习的时候，对于当天要去做好的事情，我们就必须要去完成，而不是一直往后推，这样做对自己是没有好处的。

往日，我经常看到我们的同学总是到了第二天才把昨天老师布置好的作业完成，你这样做就没有意义了，只是为了完成老师的任务而做，那做作业的意义也没了。老师为什么要去布置作业给我们，就是为了让我们好去复习当天学过的一些知识，是希望我们能够在做作业的过程中重新学到东西，对我们是有好处的，再说作业又不多，你只要抽出一点时间就能够完成的，为什么不能？你们问问自己。明明时间那么充足，大家就偏要去先玩，导致作业最后没能及时完成，同时也辜负老师布置这些作业的好意。

今天我就是希望各位同学，你们能够明白当日的事情最好当日做好，那样意义才大，而且你也会有一些小收获，玩这种事情任何时候都不晚，但已经要求要好的事情，如果不去做好的话，我是觉得很不好。那么以后我建议大家“今日事，就要今日毕”，把当前事情给完成，相信你一定会有成就感的，而且还会有一些意想不到的收获呢。

today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.

first, i'd like to define the word"talent" in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays,as the world developing goes on ,if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world,the country must have many example,china,the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years,

is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needleto say,they would have beat those big they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke ver,

nowadays, it's a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more and more people go to university,more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return,talents in army protect our country from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents

in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games......

to sum up, talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world, if one country intends to flourish, he must foster talents as many as they can ,that's all.

The East and the West, Let’s enjoy the combination of the two cultures? Kipling said:“East is east, and west is west, and never the twain shall meet!” But now, a century later, they have met.

They have met in business. They have met in education. They have met in the arts. Some people will argue that these meetings will leave us with a choice between east and west, but I believe that the best future lies in the creative combination of both worlds. We can make western ideas, customs and technology our own, and adapt them to our own use. We can enjoy the best of both worlds, because our tradition is, above all, one of selecting the best and making it our own.

I love Beijing and Hennan opera because it always reminds me of who I am. But I am also a fan of pop music, especially English songs. So I have combined eastern melody with western language. It is called western henna opera.

When two cultures meet, there may be things in one culture, which do not fit into the tradition of the other. When this happens, we need to learn to understand and respect the customs of another culture. Then there are certain things some people may not like. To this, I will say, if you do not like it, please try to tolerate it. To learn to tolerate what you personally don’t like is a great virtue at a time when different cultures mix and merge. three year ago, i weighed more than 100 hundred kilograms which caused significant embarrassment and frustration in my life. like always failing my p.e examinations, like always being laughed at by girls, like being terrified to speak in public. it was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from my passive attitude to become confident in myself. she said “ my dear, if you can’t change you figure, why not treat it as your own style. so i began to cautiously employ the new way of thinking. by choosing to change my outlook on life, i developed the confidence to make a difference and finally i found a totally new world.

so my dear friend, if faith, hope, love, endurance are added to your life, you will find the confidence to conquer your limitation and embrace new challenges. and hopefully with my speech included, you will have a fantastic speech contest.
