When I was seven, I started learning English. I played games and sang English songs with other children. Sometimes, I watched English cartoons. Its funny. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington, because my cousin is over there. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge University, I will be very happy.

I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. Also Ill introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, and the gardens in Suzhou. I will teaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.

I like the English language. To learn English is wonderful. I once wanted to be an English teacher . I also like Chinese literature. When I was really young, I was able to remember lots of poems. I also wanted to be a teacher of Chinese. Now I think that both of my dreams can come true: I will be able to use English to teach foreign friends Chinese and share Chinese culture with them. So that more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years history culture, and the prosperity of our great China.

My future is not a dream. I am confident that it will come true.

today, as people live a better life, they chase for more enjoyment. we can see from the news that when the holiday comes, there are so many people gather in the scenery site. people like to travel today, they can take a plane, take the bus or even take a bike. on my opinion, the best way to travel is by train. first, it is very cheap. compare with other ways, such as plane and bus, train is less expensive, people can save a lot of money.

besides, taking the train is much safer.

people don’t have to worry about crush, which is more happen in the plane or bus. second, we can enjoy the scenery in the train. though the train is very slow, we can have a good sight of the beautiful scenery, when we go to tibet, we can see different colors and different mountains during the trip. taking the train is the best way to travel.

第四篇:七年级英语演讲稿

Hello everyone,it's really my honor to be here.Today, shall we talk about courage.

Courage is not only found in the heat of war or the mighty works of brave men and women. Courage is the mother taking care of her sick child in the early morning hours. Courage is the father who shows up on time everyday at a boring, low-paying, dead-end job to feed and clothe his family.

Courage comes in many forms, not only from thoughts and deeds of greatness, but in the routine, everyday art of living.

When life gets you down, when it seems that your world is at an end, take courage and go the next step. You will be amazed at the power and strength you have inside.

Just gather up enough courage to take you through this day. You only have to live one day at a time. You do not have to deal with all your troubles at one time. Like the Scotsman said, "The troubles of tomorrow must wait until this day is done."

Yes, courage comes from deep within the heart and flushes away the paralysis created by fear. A song, a story, a poem or a friend could re-ignite the spark of courage and inspire us to take the next step to success.

That’s all,thank you!

第五篇:初一英语演讲稿

the thinking mans choice contact is made. nerves order the heart to pump faster. adrenalin surges to action. nerves constrict the blood vessels in the extremities of the body. skin temperature drops. fingers and toes grow colder. blood pressure jump. an alcoholic or a dope addict in the first stages of a "cure"? a man being catapulted into outer space? no! these effects stem from smoking just one cigarette.

the united states public health service is issuing continual warnings to smokers. if they abstain completely from smoking, their chances of acquiring lung cancer will be one in 275. their chances of dying of lung cancer will be one in 10 if they become heavy smokers─two or more packs a day. lung cancer is fatal in 95 per cent of all cases.

but in spite of glaring evidence and frequent warnings, the public is smoking more and more. the department of agriculture

estimates that this years consumption of cigarettes will reach 180 packs per person fifteen years of age and over. how many cigarettes does this mean per person?─3600.

why is smoking such an important problem? because smoking is not a mere habit, as so many think it is. no, it is more serious than that. a habit can be broken easily enough, but an addiction cannot. smokers lapse into helplessness! daniel schubert, of the university of chicago, quizzed 226 students at a large northwestern college about their smoking habits─why they started, what satisfaction they got, and if they wanted to stop. according to schubert, they wanted to quit smoking; but they couldnt.

if one is addicted to cigarettes, he is dependent upon them physically, as well as psychologically. what is it, if it is not

addiction, that motivates a man to go out in sub-zero weather to buy a pack of cigarettes? if necessary, he will drive ten miles late at night to find an open drugstore. what is it, if it is not addiction, that makes a moocher of an otherwise charming young girl?

i was talking to a professor not long ago who had just quit smoking. he told me what most of you already know─that once the

habit is started, watch out! it is next to impossible to stop smoking. i asked him how he ever managed to quit when he had been smoking over a pack a day for ten years. listen to his story.

"well, i cut down to one-half pack a day for the first week. i was touchy most of the time. the slightest irritation made my nerves jangle and my head want to explode. the next week i smoked five cigarettes a day and had an even worse case of nerves. then the following week i chewed gum and sucked on mints, candy, and pipe stems. frankly, i wasnt sure from one moment to the next if i could keep going. somehow i made it."

many of you know what this professor is talking about; you, too, have tried to break the addiction, but have failed. in the few minutes we have here today we can analyze the motives at the root of our smoking problem.

perhaps we can assure those who do not smoke, (and i am happy i can still include myself in this group), to nip in the bud the urges of those who are about to begin smoking, and to encourage to cut-down those who are already confirmed smokers.

第六篇:初一英语演讲稿

Hello! Every one. My name is XuJiaWei, from Class 3 Grade 7.

Please think a minute! I heard a funny true story about this guy who goes to the gym to exercise and work out each week. He takes 20 minutes to change his clothes. Then he walks around the gym talking with different people.

After that, he reads the newspaper. Finally, he does a few stretches and 5 minutes of exercises. Then he takes a hot steam bath before going home. So in the whole 2 hours he?s at the gym, he only spends 5 minutes exercising! One day, someone heard this man saying:“I don?t understand it. I go the the gym almost everyday, but I never seem to lose weight.” But every body at the gym knows why, because they see this guy there doing everything except the main thing exercise!
