Hello everyone! I’m Yang Zhiliang, I’m glad to be here do the report today, my topic is about a man, an artist, Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson, King of Pop, is not only a music talent, but also he is a really kind-hearted person. He made the pop music come to life for everyone, and become symbol of pop culture with Elvis Presley and the Beatles in 20 century. His unique music style, sometimes resounding, sometimes sweet, sometimes radical, sometimes soft. He also created modern MV and magical dance steps―moonwalk. His great influence spread all over the world and everyone study his dance style and singing style.
However, the most important is that Jackson is “King of Charity”. He has donated millions of dollars to the children and the poor through his foundation, charity singles and 39 charities. In the past, Michael usually visited the hospital and orphanage, he willing to spend a lot of money to help others, despite rumors to the libel, he tirelessly ran for the children and environment perseverance. Michael writed so much charity songs, such as “heal the world” and “we are the world”, let’s listen. As you listened, he appealed human beings to heal the world and protect the earth , and he sayed “we are the world, we are the children”. In fact, Michael is a big kid, he still owned a childishness even if when he was 40 or 50 years old. In my view , why is our world full of cheat and evil? the reason is we lack a pure childishness. Michael deeply loved children, the nature and the world, millions of people benefited from his love and everyone deeply moved by his great spirit.
But such a kind-hearted man, used to suffer from slander and ueasonable accusation. Gradually, he became exhausted and sick. Unfortunately, on June 25, 20xx, king of pop passed away forever, the whole world was shocked. However, we believe his spirit have no die, and will never die, because there is love still in the world and we still need love.

Sports brings us together
Sports are more than competitions. To me, they mean growth under the care of others. I learned this the hard way.
I used to be very shy and often felt lonely. Although I did well in all the academic subjects, I was afraid of physical education. My classmates often laughed at me.
“Look at that girl,” they said. “Her feet don’t leave the ground when she runs!”
Their words embarrassed me. Moreover, whenever the teacher organized some competitive games, no one in the class liked to have me as their partner or team member. As a result, I often ended up looking at others enjoy their games.
Things would go on like that if not for a sports meet in my high school. By mistake, my name was put on the list of those who would compete in the women’s 1500 meters race. By the time people found the mistake, it was too late to change.
My desk-mate was a natural athlete. She said to me, “I couldn’t run that race in your place, because I’ve signed up for three items already.” Other athletic girls of the class said the same.
I was utterly dumbfounded. 1500 meters! Running against the best runners from other classes! And in front of students of the entire school! It would be the worst nightmare I’d ever have!
“You still have time to catch up because there is still one month before the sports meet,” they all said this to me, including my teacher. My desk-mate patted me on the shoulder, “Cool! You will run for our class! And we will do training together.” Yes, this is not just for myself, but for my class too, I said to myself. But still, 1500 meters to me was like Mount Everest to a beginning climber. I had no idea even how to start my preparation.
Fortunately, my desk-mate gave me a hand. Every afternoon after class, several of us ran together. When the fear of being laughed at struck me, I saw others running right beside me. They gave me strengths. While we were running, some others would stand by the tracks cheering for us.
One month certainly couldn’t make me a good runner. But when I was standing behind the start line, I no longer felt lonely or afraid. I saw my classmates standing by the tracks waving at me as if about to run beside me.
With the shot of the starting gun, I dashed out and ran as fast as I could, as if it were a 200-meter race. Soon I was out of breath and slowed down. Other runners passed me one by one, and gradually I had no idea how many of them were still behind me. My legs were getting heavier and heavier, and I might fall down at any moment. However, I suddenly heard my
classmates chanting my name. My desk-mate even ran along the tracks beside me and cheered for me at the same time, just like the month-long training we did together.
As expected, I was almost the last to cross the finish line.
Immediately, my classmates held my arms and urged me to walk on my feet and not to sit down. I was surrounded, with all kinds of drinks handed to me. I felt a kind of warmth I had never felt before. Even though I was almost the last to finish the race, I was full of confidence that I would improve in the future.
That sports meet was an unforgettable experience. The memory of my classmates cheering for me, holding my arms and handing me drinks stays fresh on my mind. Sports are no longer about winning or losing. They give me a lot of confidence, both confidence in my fellow students and
confidence in my own potential. I am no longer lonely, no longer afraid. Sports have brought me close to my classmates and helped us grow together. Now, I participate in the sports meet every year. Even if I am not competing, I would help my classmates with their practice, just like the way my desk-mate and others ran with me.

It takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments. What we cannot afford to lose.
We cannot lose innovation.
There is a wonderful word which expresses the most original motions and desires among human-beings. With solving any kind of imperfections, our world has moved ahead. This is the word “innovation” that we cannot afford to lose.
We chicaned every detail of the innovation. Thousands years before, we created fire when we took a stone to knock another one. Since Han Dynasty, four great inventions had been created and it is one of the greatest signs that China become to the ancient civilized country. And nowadays, thousands of software, products, architectures and public facilities have upgraded more than that about 100 years ago. So how did these happen? What will you do if you are not satisfied with your tools anymore? What will you do if old mode cannot afford to develop in a company? There is no doubt that we should innovate no matter where we are and what we do. Not because of the design itself, but actually for its intended purpose.
If there was no Apple, everyone could not imagine how to contact others easily and enjoy a better Internet surfing.
If there was no Microsoft, perhaps we still worked in a dim office and duplicate some troublesome documents. If there was no Newton, and no theory of gravity, maybe I will win the Nobel Prize like Newton rather than just standing here. I have heard that three apple changed the world. The first one seduced Eve. The second one awakened Newton. The third one was in the hands of Steve Jobs. We sort of think the innovation of the world began with apple. I imagine lots of people want to become another Newton or Jobs right now with just one hand to change the world, right? Have the innovation to follow your heart. Via questioning, we can start to innovate. Via innovating, we can start to create better lives. No innovation, no improvement. No improvement, no success. And no success, no civilization. Now, our time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life! Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice! Don't let yourself down! 如果没有苹果,每个人都无法想象如何与其他人接触,并享受一个更好的上网冲浪。
