I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with ,I want to ask a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night? Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night,but a dream―― about life.
Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage,and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners,we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction,with a direction, we were no longer confused.With the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.

But I know，life is tough,and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims,and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .
Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing is impossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. If I cant realize my dream,it result from that I havent work harder enough and I wont find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god havent blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth.
"My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder." In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. 英语这门学科和语数不一样的地方在于它的灵活多变性，它的题型可以千变万化，但它的变化总是建立在一个不变的基础上的，那就是这些基础知识：单词，短语，句型。一旦基础的东西掌握了，不管它怎么变，万变不离其宗。
曾经有家长打电话问我他孩子的英语基础很差怎么办，我的回答很简单，“只要他跟着我的步子走，按照我的要求做，问题不大！”我的回答很简单，可真的做起来不那么容易哦！有些家长就深深地体会到英语这个学科只要孩子用心，学习效果是很明显的，只要他背了记了，效果就出来了，可能由于有些家长还没有意识到英语在考试中的地位而对这一学科有所忽略，现在，我想告诉各位，小升初的考试，好一些的中学，是要把英语分数纳入总分计算的，所以，目前的形势决定了英语学科的重要性，请各位家长务必重视英语这一学科，你们思想上重视了，无形中也给孩子以熏陶，重视与不重视肯定是完全不同的，在学校肯定是抓得很紧。关键是孩子周末放假在家的两天有没有充分利用起来，我们每周的回家作业上都会有一项复习的内容，请家长务必抽出一点点时间来监督他这一任务的完成，你们可以看家校联谊卡，然后来读单词，短语的中文让孩子写英文，对照书来检查掌握情况，这样周一的复习听写才能有好的效果，单元测验才能取得好成绩。否则，他们两天时间就白白浪费掉了，你们还可以让他跟着磁带读课文，课文熟练了，很多题目就自然而然会做了，多读还可以培养他的语感，还请家长多多配合。说了这么多，我只有目的，也是各位家长所想的：我们配合好，把他们的成绩逐步提高上去。谢谢各位的合作。
下面跟大家谈一谈关于孩子教育方面的话题：
（一）对于“好学生”的界定和教育。
“好学生”这三个字，想必在座的各位一定不会陌生吧，我们都希望自己的孩子是一名“好学生”，对吧？但什么是“好学生”？“好学生”的标准是什么呢？我们传统的评价标准总局限在“学习”一个方面，甚至仅仅局限在“主科的成绩”一点上，其实这是很不对的。成绩高固然重要，但那些高分低能的人算是优秀学生吗？读书读到最后而自我封闭的学生是优秀学生吗？评价一个优秀学生的标准应该是多方面的，所以，绝不能因为他的学习成绩好，就忽视了诸如懂得融入社会，和别人和睦相处，有坚强的意志，能够克服困难等品质的教育。大家知道，我们每一个人，在生活中要经受多少的打击与挫折。愈是好学生，愈要抓紧，不能让他滋生骄傲自满、轻视他人的缺点。“响鼓不用重锤敲”这一观念大家要改一改。而成绩暂时不太理想的同学，请各位家长和老师配合，正确地引导他们，不能一张试卷就定了他们的性，我记得每天在校园里和我说“老师好！”，放学后和我说“再见！”的，很有礼貌的学生，许多并不是品学兼优的同学。所以说，每个孩子都有他们的闪光点，我们要把他们挖掘出来。
（二）、针对学生的情况，家长要及时和老师联系，及时沟通。
作为家长，应该想一想，孩子在同样的年龄段里，同时走进同一所学校，在同样的班级里就读，上课的时间是相同的，教育环境是一致的，然而接受教育的效果则区别很大，这种大优大劣分化的原因是什么呢？除了孩子之间的智力差异外，很大程度在于家长的配合上。对孩子的教育是学校、家庭、社会三方面的，如果只强调学校教育而忽视家庭教育是绝对不行的。我们工作的目的是为了让自己的生活更好一些，让自己的子女受的教育更多一些，如果连自己的子女都顾不上管，工作还有什么意义呢？
还有，有的同学，因为到了新的学校，新的学习环境，一直在心里是个疙瘩，因为不适应而觉得老师这儿不好，那儿不好，作为家长应该及时与老师联系，尽快地给孩子做好工作，让他适应新的学习环境。
（三）、关于分数，家长要有一个正确的认识。
同学们常说，考考考，老师的宝。的确，在当前乃至经后的很长一段时期内，考试制度还将存在，分数的话题也会继续存在，但是，我们一定要有一个正确的认识，就是说，分数的高低并不能真正代表学生学习的好坏，一两次的考试也说明不了什么。我们每一个教育者、家长，要关心分数，但不能太注重分数，要具体地分析，是什么原因使得学生考得好，又是什么原因使他们没有考好，不能盲目地给自己地孩子定很高的目标，比如，语文要达到100分，这在高年级是不可能达到的`，因为作文是没有满分的。同时，试题特别简单的时候，全班同学都考了90分，你就没必要为自己孩子的80分庆祝了。家长要明白，高分不是骂出来的，更不是打出来的，对自己的孩子要有耐心与信心。学校教育它是群体性的教育形式，一个老师负责几十名同学，所以老师不可能像父母那样有足够的时间和精力，把教育的对象，集中在一个学生身上，有时候面对不交作业，不认真书写时，采取一些简单的教育行为，这是无可奈何的举措。
（四）、帮助孩子养成良好的学习习惯。
良好的学习、生活习惯对一个人是非常重要的，好多事业上取得成就的人，都与良好的习惯分不开。下面，主要说说大家帮助孩子养成哪些良好的学习习惯：
1.勤于思考、敢于攻关的习惯。
2、在规定时间内学习的习惯。
3、力戒拖延和磨蹭“名模”（名磨=出了名的磨蹭）的恶果：不仅会白白浪费了时光，养成做事心不在焉的坏习惯，还会造成思维迟钝，注意紧张度降低，影响智力发展，使学业落后，形成拖沓的作风，学习、工作都没有效率。
4、养成不懂就问的好习惯。
5、养成复习旧课和预习新课的习惯。
6、养成做完作业细心检查的习惯。
7、养成良好的休息习惯
为了孩子的健康成长，我们走到一起来了。为了美好的理想，我们必须一起努力，实现这个理想。老师愿意从一点一滴做起。让孩子能有进步，能健康成长！
