Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ，my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ，when I am 16 years old ，standing here ，my dreams have already changed a lot.
I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home，while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain，jumping in the heavy snow，pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ，because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ，of course ，Im an athlete，Im so proud of that all the time .
When I was 10 years old ，I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ，I couldnt bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that god only help those who help themselves.During those hard days，I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But，I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didnt want to stop my sports career anyway.
Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ，today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.
I have a dream that one day ，I can run，jump and pitch just like I used to be.
I have a dream that one day ， I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.
I have a dream that one day ，I can stand on the highest place at the olympic games.With all the cameras pointing at me.I will tell everyone that Im so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

So I'll say：Concentrate upon your dreams and they will become material actualities. Through concentration we work out our dreams in physical life. We say a man is as changeable as the weather. What is meant is his dreams change. Every time you change your idea you think differently. You become like a rudderless boat on an ocean. Therefore realize the importance of holding to your dream until it becomes a reality .
Catch the star that holds your destiny， the one that forever twinkles within your heart. Take advantage of precious opporyunities while they still sparkle before you. Always believe that your ultimate goal is attainable as long as you commit yourself to it.
Though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams， remember that your destiny is hiding behind them. Accept the fect that not everyone is goimg to approve of the choices you've made， have faith in your judgement， catch the star that twinkles in your heart， and it will lead you to your destiny's path. Follow that pathway and uncover the sweet sunrises that await you.
Take pride in your accomplishments， as they are stepping stones to your dreams. Understand that you may make mistakes， but don't let them discourage you. Value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you truly unique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased， but acquired through hard work and determination. Finding the star that twinkles in your heart for you alone are capable of making your brightest dreams come true.
So don't think that you are neglected， or not understood， or not appreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure.
Don't pity yourself， criticise yourself. You know that the only thing in the world that you have got to count upon is yourself.

We observe today not a victory of party, but a celebration of freedom,symbolizing an end, as well as a beginning; signifying renewal, as well aschange. For I have sworn before you and Almighty God the same solemn oath ourforebears prescribed nearly a century and three quarters ago.
In your hands, my fellow citizens, more than in mine, will rest the finalsuccess or failure of our course. Since this country was founded, eachgeneration of Americans has been summoned to give testimony to its nationalloyalty. The graves of young Americans who answered the call to service surroundthe globe.
Now the trumpet summons us again, not as a call to bear arms, though armswe need; not as a call to battle, though embattled we are; but a call to bearthe burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, “rejoicing inhope; patient in tribulation”, a struggle against the common enemies of man:tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself.
Can we forge against these enemies a grand and global alliance, North andSouth, East and West, that can assure a more fruitful life for all mankind? Willyou join in that historic effort?
In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been grantedthe role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrinkfrom this responsibility. I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us wouldexchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, thefaith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country andall who serve it. And the glow from that fire can truly light the world.

在座的同学们，你是否常常抱怨自己的早餐不够丰盛、常常觉得自己的衣服不够漂亮，你是否羡慕别人家庭很富裕，是否觉得别人的父母足够有地位?如果你有这种想法，就表示你对自己的生活部是很满足，可是，你知道吗?人生在世有一种精神可以使你常常快乐，这就是知足。只要你知道满足，你一定会觉得自己比别人过得好。
此时此刻，我想起了一个故事：一个大富人有着万贯家财，雇了几十个帐房先生管理，仍是忙不过来。虽然拥有这么多财产，那位富人却是每天寝食不安，愁眉不展。而他隔壁有一对穷夫妇，靠做豆腐过日子，尽管家境贫寒，老夫妇俩每天从早到晚，有唱有笑，做豆腐、卖豆腐，显得十分快乐。富人觉得很奇怪，便问一位帐房先生，那位帐房先生回答说：“老爷，你不必要多想，隔墙扔几锭银子过去，便会知道了。”于是，富人趁夜黑无人，将五十两银子扔进了隔壁的豆腐店，卖豆腐的老夫妇俩拾到了这笔从天而降的财产，欣喜若狂，于是忙着埋藏银子，又要考虑怎么花，又要担心别人偷……弄得吃不下饭、睡不着觉，日夜不安。隔壁的富人自此再也听不到那往日的歌声、笑声，这时才恍然大悟：“原来我不快活的原因，就是这些银钱啊!”
听完这个故事之后，你是否还羡慕别人的家庭比你家富裕呢?人活在世界上，财富与名利给我们带来的快乐其实是很少。正如《八大人觉经》中说：“多欲为苦，生死疲劳，从贪欲起，少欲无为，身心自在。”其实人只要知足，一切都会变得很美好，你会感到幸福，会感到快乐。
如果你身体健康，没有疾病，那么你就比几千万人要幸运。他们甚至看不到下周的太阳。
如果你从未尝受过战争的危险、牢狱的孤独、酷刑的折磨和饥饿的煎熬，那么你的处境要比其他5亿人要好。
如果你能随便进出教堂和寺庙而没有任何被恐吓的危险，那么你比其他30亿人更幸运。
如果你在银行里有存款，钱包里有现钞，口袋里有零钱，那么你属于世界上8%的幸运儿。
如果你的冰箱里有食物可吃，身上有衣服可穿，有房可住，你就比世界上的75%的人要富裕。
同学们，无论何时何地，你都要心存感恩的心，有一句话是这样说的，“当你在烦恼自己没有鞋穿的时候，有的人却没有脚”，所以要感谢上天给予我们生命，有了生命我们都是很幸运的。让我们永远记住，知足常乐，人生无悔!
