而另一个男孩和父亲之间的隔阂则更大。他是一个问题少年，功课不好，却又讲义气，经常和别人打架。他的父亲也试着去爱他，虽然脾气火暴却尽力温柔地对儿子说：“IIOVEYOU”。没有太多钱，也坚持给儿子买书包。他连ABC都写不好，却亲手抄了163封英文信去低声下气的求每一位校长收留儿子。他太爱孩子，可是却不知如何去爱。儿子始终和他坚持着距离，即使血缘关系也不能温暖儿子的心。可是，当他父亲去世后他便彻底明白了，他那可怜可悲的自尊心和父亲对他的爱相比则太过渺小。于是这个问题少年变了，不在偏激。他理解了父亲的苦心。这个代价太大了。虽然他的痛心疾首深切悔恨也挽回不了父亲的生命，但他开始去爱人，他父亲的在天之灵相信也能够安心了。
