Good morning! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for me. When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job. Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future. How to say future? 1.Some say growing up in rich family promotes childrens personality and character. Some think otherwise. Whats your opinion? Why?
Well, its quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a persons personality has little relation to his family economic level. Its commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isnt aware of this, that is all in vain. Its not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor familys children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves. However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus cant study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. That will cause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance. Therefore, I think childrens personality have little relation to their family situation.
2.In universities, students should take history courses no matter what field they study. Do you agree?
I disagree with it even though I do know history is important. Im a student major in electricity. To be honest, I think there is little sense for students in university taking history courses no matter what field they study. Maybe many people would say, history is something left by our ancestors, so we shouldnt forget it. Yes, I agree with that. History need to be remembered. But in fact, we have been learning history from primary school. I really its enough for people like me whose major has little relation to history. I just take history exam last year. For me, it was really a nightmare. I spent so much time on it and still can remember all. Now that were chosen engineering, I cant understand why we need and have to learn history again. The time spent on history learning should be used for our major courses.

在这次全市小学英语优质课比赛中，共有14节词汇课、14位教师每一位都能认真钻研教材，抓住重难点教学，努力了解学生，完成任务教学、各位老师各尽所能，各展其才，给我们带来14节优秀的课、下面，我就从三个方面对这些课做一下小小的点评：
一、对词汇课的认识
词汇课听起来好象是单纯教几个单词，但在语言教学中我们应把握这样一个原则：词不离句，句不离境、这两句话说的什么意思？就是说在教学中教单词的同时，离不开句子的教学，教语句的同时不能脱离环境的创设、在这次比赛中，我们7号老师和9号老师就做的相当不错、7号老师教授的是四种水果：pear，orange，watermelon和peach、她利用猴子了一个cai课件创设情景，在教单词的同时，展示两个动物朋友喜不喜欢，从而引出句子：do you like？yes,i do./no，i don't，同时让学生去扮演角色、角色扮演完后，自然过渡到调查周围同学、这样的安排给人一种水到渠成的感觉、9号老师教的是四个形容词：big，small，long和short、她带领我们进入了动物园：看见大象学生就扮演：hi,i'm elephant. i'm big、看见猴子学生就扮演：hello,i'm monkey. i'm small.看见蛇学生就扮演：hello,i'm snake. i'm long、看见小白兔学生就扮演：hi,i'm rabbit. i have a short tail…学生兴趣高，也非常积极主动去运用英语交际、
二、对词汇课课堂结构的认识
一节好的课，首先要教学思路清晰，目的明确，重难点突出、我们小学英语教学过程大致可分为以下几块：
1、warm―up热身让学生通过游戏、chant、歌曲等进行一个暖身，调动学生的学习兴趣、
2、 preview/revision预习或复习可对过去的相关知识进行一下回顾展示
3、 presentation and practice主要是呈现新知，教授新知，并能利用各种教学手段和教学方法对所学知识进行巩固操练、在这14位参赛教师中，1号，4号，6号，8号，9号，10号，11号，13号等老师，她们运用了competation 、chant 、tpr 、look and match、 listen and point、 listen and draw 、guessing game和task―based等教学方法，采取了师生操练、小组操练、生生操练等多种形式，给人一种多姿多彩的感觉、特别提出的是6号和10号老师，她们可能不是英语专业毕业的老师，但她们能充分利用空中资源，和学生一起学习，一起做游戏，共同操练，这很值得让我们去借鉴、
4、 consolidation and extension就是对我们所学的知识做一个总结和拓展、
这几部教学环节相辅相成，互相联系、教学时我们可以用简单的游戏、歌曲甚至是短短的几句课堂用语就能将它们自然衔接，慢慢过渡，但有很多老师常常忽视这些，使的下一个环节出现的有点突然、比赛中我认为做的比较好的有X号等老师、
三、关于课堂教学细节的处理
优秀的课堂之所以优秀，除了教学结构外，还有细节的独特处理，就如人一样，七分长相三分打扮、如1号、2号、10号老师的cai课件，4号和9号老师独特新颖的词卡，4号和13号老师漂亮的板书设计，11号和12号老师多样的评价语，13号和14号老师完整的评价体系（形成性评价与终结性评价相结合），5号和12号老师好听的语音语调，特别是12号老师夸张的'语音语调和态势语，这些都留给了我们每一个在场的老师深刻的印象、
总的说来，各位老师都能较好的完成教学任务，但是也存在不少问题，需要去改善：
1、加强自身学习，少犯知识性错误、尽量运用简短的英语，让学生听懂指令、
2、缺少对语言情境的创设，各个知识点之间出现一定的块面，如果能够一条线索贯穿起来就更加好了、
3、对学生的小组活动需加强指导，培养学生用英语交流的习惯、
4、要探究对课堂知识的拓展、
5、应注重细节的处理，如板书设计、学生座位的安排、评价语的多样化等、
