我演讲的题目是“诚信与我们同行。”

翻开我们中华民族五千年的文明史，会发现，以诚实守信为做人根本的故事比比皆是。同时，我们也看到，因失去诚信导致国破家亡的例子也可信手拈来：商纣失信，加速了国家的灭亡；楚怀王失信，不但亡了国，还使一代贤臣――屈原饮恨汩罗江；吴三桂失信，留下千古骂名……。所以，以史为鉴，诚信是我们立身、修德、处事的根本。
诚信对于一个人很重要，对于一个国家则更为重要。一个不讲诚信的个人是社会的危险品，而一个不讲诚信的民族是莫大的悲哀。因此，我们中学生更应身体力行，从我做起，这样才能在不久的将来担负起建设祖国的重任。
作为未来祖国的主人，我们面对的是一个新科技、新信息、新体制不断涌现，竞争日益激烈的信息时代。要想使自己能够适应于这个时代，使我们的.民族立于这个竞争的世界，就必须诚实守信。你可以没有金钱，可以没有荣誉，也可以没有健康，但你不可以没有诚信，因为诚信是个人的立身之本、民族的存亡之根。

我认为，诚信是一件很重要的美德。虽然诚信对于大家来说已不陌生，从小家长也常常教导我们要讲诚信。可是，社会上依然存在一些不讲诚信的人。比如：有些商家会出卖一些假冒伪劣商品，过期的食品、用品、甚至是药品;还有一些无良的商家会出售一些假烟、假酒，让人饮用后会致人伤亡。孔子有云：人无信不立。难道他们就不明白这“诚信”的道理吗?不，当然不是。他们为了贪图一些眼前的利益，放弃了“诚信”。可他们又何偿明白，他们放弃的不仅是“诚信”，他们丢失的还有他们的人格，还有长期发展的市场空间，甚至还有可能是他们的一生。如果不讲诚信，时间久了，谁还会来买他们的东西。
